Struck by a knife from behind as hit by lightning.
Physical injury can be healed in time
but damage done by speech can haunt you forever.
Bleeding so much that i lost my orientation as for where to go
It is a scar that will always be on my heart.
(BTW, this is not a poem. dont judge it as one!!) 10月28日 Hi, Hello, Hey, Yo, S'up, Dude!it has been a week since i last posted an entry here. (gosh!! already been a week. time does fly past fast!) so how's everyone doing this week. for me, i had quite a hectic week since i actually got a lot of things to deal with. i didnt even have time to mark the homework handed back in by my students. i said to my 6A that i would give them back their weekly journal for the weekend. however, i didnt since i couldn't take time out to finish marking their previous writing. They were so fortunate that they had one piece of homework less.
To my S6A kids,
when i saw the board with all your homework listed there, i was a bit suprised that there was truely a lot of homework for the weekend. still, i didnt go easy on you and gave you another piece of homework. Listen up! I understand that it is not easy studying in A level. Don't forget that you are not alone in battling through your A level studies. I am also here with you. Let's work hard together in these two years. You have a lot to learn from me and, at the same time, i have a lot to learn from you ^^

KTChui (Don't dare calling me TXXmy!!!!) 10月22日 a weekend dedicated to 'Sing K'^^i had a very peaceful weekend with my family and friends.... mostly with my friends actually. On Saturday, i went to BBQ in the evening with my former 7A students because it was tommy's b'day (one of my former 7A kid). They are doing fine in whatever they are doing now. So i am happy. After the BBQ, i went to karaoke with the boys and we sang until 7 in the following morning. it was a bit too much. so i was sort of sleepy throughout the whole Sunday.
I had something to deal with on Sunday afternoon so i took the afternoon out for it. After that, a friend of mine called me and asked if i wanted to go to karaoke with him and another friend in MK. I couldnt believe that i said 'yes' to him. i was so gonna go home due to the extreme tireness. Anyway, i went. we ended up 三條友(仔)係K房唱K。
After singing, we went to Langham Plc for dinner. there werent many decent places we could choose from. Since i wanted to eat, anywhere was fine by me. ^^
How was your weekend?
10月18日 A little bit on the workshop i took in these two daysI went to a very enjoyable workshop in these two days. The workshop was about 正面文化. it taught us how to look at things positively. as teachers, we can praise our students more often rather than telling them off all the time. Of course, a little bit of scolding is neccessary. we can praise them even if they have only done something very minor, say handing in h/w on time. it also taught us how we could relax ourselves during our stressful working days and how to get along well with our fellow teachers.
There is a five-step procedure for doing this.
1st) Look at what the students are doing,
2nd) what are the positive outcome,
3rd) tell them how you feel about what they have done,
4th) ask them the reason(s) for doing so, and the final step,
5th) praise them with some positive adjectives.
There were also many activities in the workshop for learning to look at things in a positive perspective. I really enjoyed it : ) There were also some activities for every one to get to know each other better. I think it worked very well. Every one was very happy (seemed like it anyway). Anyhow, i think i have gained more than i had expected before attending the workshop.
before the workshop, i was actually quite not in the mood because i thought a two-day workshop was a bit time wasting. I would rather have more lessons than joining it. but then, when i was there with every one taking part in the activities, i found that it wasnt that bad afterall, you know. i could learn a lot from the programme. Especially from the hostress, Ah Miu (阿妙). she was a very positive woman and she led the whole programme very well.
I love the last part 徒手劈板. It was really amazing! first, we wrote our goal on it (just one of our many:). Then we had to break it with our bare hands like karate. i thought i could do it, but with doubt. Anyway, i hit the wooden plate with my might, then it broke into two halves. I was really happy coz i did it. 10月14日 MAD and CRAZY!!Some news reports have made me quite uneasy lately. Recently there are quite a number of news reports involving children being abandoned or even murdered. More disgustingly, they were abandoned and murdered by their own parents. Just last week, a new-born baby was found dead in a rubbish collection point in Sheung Shui. Today on the news, a mother threw her son and daughter and then herself off their flat because the mother was under so much pressure. How could someone kill their own children?
There is no excuse for taking away the life of others. However difficult life may turn out to be. You have to face it bravely. Killing yourself isn’t the solution for everything.
If you have to die, just die then!! Don’t take other people along with you. They are innocent!! (I so wanna swear here!!!!!!!!!! That so-called ‘mother’ has made me so mad. I wanna beat the hell out of her right now.) 10月10日 students are always busy ... ... doing other thingsmy sore throat is almost gone and i am happy that i can speak again. It was a long day today (actually everyday is a long day). i only had lessons of the 2 S3 classes and i didnt have S6 today. My S6 is quite disappointing because they spend too much time on preparing things other than their H/W. Today after school, they asked if i could postpone the deadline for the 'news commentary'. i wasnt very happy though. Oh well, since i have given them 2 quatos each for handing in h/m late. they are going to spend one on the news commentary.

10月3日 sore throat - killing me softlyfeel like dying after a long day of work. Been working for long hours every day and have the feeling that 24hours a day just isnt enough. i didnt want to move today coz of my sore throat. it is killing me softly <- just like the song 'killing me softly' :) it slakened my teaching today as i didnt really want to speak. i used a mic but it wasnt all that helpful. It would be better if someone could speak for me.. .. (cheeky)
